AAPA Maritime Economic Development Workshop
PNWA members are invited to attend the AAPA/Port of Tacoma-sponsored Maritime Economic Development Workshop - Attracting Funds for Port-Related Infrastructure, to be held July 13-14, at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma. This workshop will address how ports can best position themselves within their state, regional and corridor transportation planning framework. The program will feature a special emphasis on marine highways as an important emerging modal alternative and include a timely grant writing workshop focusing on TIGER II grants conducted by officials from the U.S. Department of Transportation. PNWA registrants will be able to register at the discounted AAPA member rate.
