Dear
Top Quality French White Porcelain With 30% Discount Exceptionally tough and durable, the easy to clean French Porcelain from Pillivuyt has always been a favorite of ours. In short it's a superb product, so I was very excited to see a new range from this supplier, especially as we have negotiated some excellent discounts of around 30%.
The new elegant range called Eden comes in some really useful shapes and sizes, with gratin dishes, square roasters, oval bakers and lasagna dishes amongst it. In addition, the range has the added advantage of large loop handles that make getting it out of the oven with oven gloves a doddle.
As well as being exceptionally tough with a very high chip resistance (we have been using Pillivuyt for 2 generations in my family, and I don't think we have ever managed to chip one of their dishes), it has the added benefit that it can be taken straight from the freezer to a hot oven and is guaranteed not to break!
Now I wouldn't normally recommend trying this at home, but I have done it and it does work. I'm told the toughness is all down to the extremely high temperatures at which it is fired - 1400 degrees C - pretty hot by anyone's standards, and by double firing the glaze they also achieve a mirror like finish which is really easy to clean - which is an added bonus.
There are 8 great pieces in the range and we have a dozen of each in stock, not many I know and with the added attraction of 30% discount you will need to be quick.
Great New Range, Great New Offer From Bodum In 6 striking contemporary colours the new range from Bodum look simply stunning. Sure to add a splash of colour and compliment your kitchen these toasters, kettles, mugs and coffee pressers (Cafétierres) make a lovely range.
I have secured a great offer from them exclusively for Art of Living details of which will be in the next Red Apron magazine!
A Burning Issue...Oven Gloves Feedback from our members and customers is really important to us and never more so than when products don't live up to our high expectations.
Sometime ago we were told by two Red Apron members Jane and Chris that the Typhoon oven gloves they'd bought from us didn't really cut the mustard. The other day as Babette and I were testing all the oven gloves for a report for the forth coming Red Apron magazine, I was reminded quite forcibly of exactly what their complaint was about!
So if you find a product doesn't come up to expectations please remember our promise to you. Firstly we want to know if there's something wrong with what we're selling. Secondly we want to do something about it.
In the case of the faulty oven gloves we not only took them back and refunded them but also ceased selling them and returned all our stock to Typhoon who did the decent thing and credited us.
So if you bought these from us in the past and you're not happy with them, then suffer them no longer...return them whence they came!
