Maplewood Drive-Thrus Closing Early on Fridays
ATTENTION MAPLEWOOD BRANCH MEMBERS:
Soon, we will be closing our Maplewood drive-thru lanes early on Fridays. Beginning on Friday, November 16, 2012, our Maplewood drive-thru lanes will close at 5:00 PM.
However, our remaining three Jackson branches will continue to serve members until 6:00 PM. Please refer to our Branch Locations page for information on one of these branches.

| Personal Financial Management: Not Just Balancing your Checkbook Anymore...
Managing your finances has come along way in the past ten years. Just remember: it wasn't too long ago for most that you would whip out the checkbook at the grocery store and record an entry in your register. Then, at the end of the month you would receive a paper statement and "reconcile" your registry against your paper statement from Leaders.
Today, debit cards and online banking have made that process much more smooth and almost completely automated. We would like to introduce you to a few other tools that may make your life even more easy:
FinanceWorks: Ever wished you could keep all of your financial information in one easy place and only log in once to manage your accounts? Lucky for you, because you're a Leaders Credit Union member. We offer FinanceWorks free of charge to our online banking members and it's a snap to setup. Just log into online banking, select the FinanceWorks tab, and start adding your outside accounts. You can then watch your spending trends, set goals and categorize your spending.
Mint: You may have heard of Mint, but do you know what it is? Mint is owned by Intuit, the same company that owns FinanceWorks, and incidentally our online banking provider. Mint is very similar to FinanceWorks in that it allows you to manage all your accounts from one convenient place, but Mint also allows you to access your accounts from your mobile device as well.
Online Bill Pay: Finally, online bill pay allows you to pay all your bills from one location inside your Leaders Credit Union eBr@nch. Online bill pay is a great way to simplify your life and ensure that bills are paid on-time, every time. Our bill payment system is very simple to use. Simply key in the address of the business or organization that you would typically pay with cash or a check, and schedule the date on which they need to be paid. You can schedule the payment automatically or press the payment button each month on your own. It's that simple! |

Leaders Credit Union continues to improve your mobile banking experience
This time last year, we introduced mobile banking and our smartphone applications after receiving tremendous demand for access from you. To date, we have had over 8,000 applications downloaded to Apple and Android smartphones, and our mobile website receives more visits than our desktop version!
While this is very exciting, it also presents some interesting challenges for the future. We now understand that you prefer to interact with your credit union accounts from your mobile device, and we want to encourage and support that preference. We always want to keep you in the know about what's coming to make your life more convenient, so here are some new features that will likely be provided for our mobile members in 2013:
- Mobile Check Deposit: We understand that many of our members don't reside near one of our branches, and our busy lives make visiting a branch for deposits difficult. Soon, you will be able to use your smartphone's camera to make check deposits. This technology is very secure and is much more convenient than making a special trip to one of our branches.
- A better ATM locator: Our ATM network is one of the largest and best in the world, and we want to ensure that you are always able to locate one when you need it. We're developing a much more comprehensive ATM location service within our smartphone applications that will allow you to use location-based (GPS) services and select the most convenient automated teller for you.
- Person-to-Person and Account-to-Account Transfers: Cash and checks are no longer the only way to pay and receive money from friends, family and acquaintances. We are pleased to announce that soon, you will be able to quickly and securely transfer money from your Leaders Credit Union checking account to another financial institution or individual based simply on the account, phone number or email address of that person. Again, we hope that this will save our members time, fuel and ultimately money in their daily tasks!

Introducing the easiest way to coupon: Purchase Rewards from Leaders Credit Union!
We all love saving money. What we sometimes don't love is the amount of effort involved in saving it. One such example is couponing: the tedious process of thumbing through the Sunday paper, trimming along the dotted line and trying to make sure we've grabbed the correct quantity and used the right slip before the expiration date. It can be an exhausting process.
Fortunately, technology has once again made life a little easier, and Leaders Credit Union is about to show you how. Soon we will be introducing Purchase Rewards, a way to redeem offers with the swipe of your Leaders Credit Union MasterCard CheckMate debit card. Here's how:
- Log into online banking, and you will find offers listed inside your account.
- Choose which offers you will accept, and which ones you would prefer not to receive.
- Make corresponding purchases, and the discounts will be applied directly to your checking account with a credit from the merchant.
- Offers that you accept are remembered by the eBr@nch, and you will see additional offers that you like.
