If you visit our branches regularly, you will notice that some staff changes have recently taken place. If you'd like to send a message to any of these team members, simply click on their photo to email them.
Cooper McKelvey has accepted the role of Branch Manager at our South Highland branch. Cooper has been a lender with Leaders for almost two years, both with our mortgage division and in consumer lending at our Oil Well branch.
Scotty Wolfe has relocated as Branch Manager to our North Highland branch. He will replace Angela Utley, who has moved to our Member Contact Center to serve in a new role. You may have seen Scotty at our Maplewood branch as their Manager.
Edie Whitman will be working with Kevin Smith in our Investments division. Edie has worked in member service for the past year and will continue her relationship with our members by assisting Kevin in managing their client portfolios.
Kelli Bryan has joined our mortgage division as a loan officer. Kelli comes from Champion Inc. and she is excited to work with our first-time homebuyers as a specialist. Kelli will be located at our Oil Well branch.
Peggy Bass is the Branch Manager for our Union City branch that is currently under construction. While she may not be a new face for our members in the area, she has taken on a new role and we're excited that she will be able to continue to serve the new members of our family. |

What's the Big Deal?
These days, everyone seems to be making a big fuss over shopping locally and giving back to the community. For the second straight year, Small Business Saturday has received over 2,000,000 participants in the US and the numbers keep growing. Why are people so concerned with supporting local businesses?
We believe people are shopping locally because local businesses are what makes our country great. Small to medium independent business owners are the heartbeat of America and they drive our economy, even in tough times like today. With the upheaval caused by the national banking players and major corporate dishonesty, consumers have only been driven further to contribute to their local economies as a way of protecting our country and themselves from suffering.
Leaders Credit Union has been in the Jackson community for over 50 years supporting both our individual members and our small business partners and we want to encourage this trend. We also believe that we're a great local option for every financial decision that you will make in your life. From your daily checking account to your mortgage to your credit card to your retirement account, we have an easy to use, affordable and most important -- local -- option. The articles in this month's issue highlight some of the great ways that you can buy locally with Leaders Credit Union. |
