On behalf of the employees and all of our fellow members in the Jackson community, I would like to personally welcome our most recent additions to Leaders Credit Union: the former Peoples Choice Credit Union membership!
We are honored that you have chosen to join us as a cooperative and we're excited about both the growth you represent and the profitability that we will share in the future. | New Branch Access
Effective immediately, Leaders Credit Union members may now access and open accounts as well as fund loans through our Union City branch. We are located at 1500 South First Street in Union City. Over the upcoming weeks and months, Leaders Credit Union will be renovating this facility to reflect the branch locations that you've come to love in the Jackson area. Please pardon our progress as we work hard to serve you better! |

Old Friends, New Opportunities 
On Tuesday, November 1, Leaders Credit Union officially merged with Peoples Choice Credit Union in Union City TN. This partnership was a mutual agreement between credit unions to ensure the provision of economical products and services and the extension of a credit union relationship to the citizens of Union City. Peoples Choice was formerly known as Goodyear Employees' Credit Union, and was chartered by 8 Goodyear employees in the mid-1960s. It was later amended to a multiple common bond charter in 1991 to include several area businesses and interest groups in the Obion and Lake counties in Tennessee and Fulton county Kentucky.
Although our friends from Peoples Choice may have new accounts at Leaders, we can consider them old friends because they share our core values of investing in one another. This expansion of our credit union will allow us to share a branch with our new members in Union City and gives Leaders Credit Union opportunities to expand throughout West Tennessee. Our partnership will also expand the services that our newly joined members are able to receive.
If you're an existing Leaders Credit Union member, we appreciate your continued business, and if you're a new member, welcome to our family!

Mortgage Rates Still Dropping!
 It's hard to believe, but rates continue to drop for home loans. Many of you may have already made the jump to purchase your first home or refinanced your existing loan, but if you have not, now is the time to make a move.
Property values are also at historic lows, and if you plan to be in the West Tennessee area for an extended time, the climate  for homebuying could never be warmer. Leaders Credit Union offers great first mortgage loans for both in-house financing and secondary rates. If the property that you are purchasing is less than 80% loan-to-value (meaning that the money you are borrowing for your home represents less than 80% of the total value of the home), you may be eligible for a no-closing-cost option. This can greatly reduce the amount of cash that you need in order to close on your purchase and get into your new home more quickly. Come by our Oil Well Branch in Jackson and visit Kay Carroll or Cooper McKelvey and they can provide you with several options to fit your specific needs. |
