Collegeville Market : Your Labor Day "Stay-cation" Location
...The Best of Summer, Close to Home.
Local schools are back in session. Ursinus kids are back on campus. And you can't bear the thought of battling weekend holiday traffic for one last hurrah of summer...
No problem!
We are rolling out the welcome mat and firing up our new grill this Saturday, Sept. 1 for a Welcome Back Breakfast and Barbecue Bash that brings the summer party right here to Collegeville. Our farmers and vendors have joined forces in sponsoring this great fundraiser to support our market and its mission to provide the best and freshest local food and to strengthen our community.

Who Says Barbecue
...is not for Breakfast?
We're proving them wrong!
Here is our fun and fresh menu for breakfast (and lunch and dessert), fresh off the grill.
Our Menu and our Sponsors
For breakfast, try a sandwich with Bendy Brook Farm's locally-raised and pastured sausage patties and eggs, grilled and served up hot on a fresh-baked St. Peter's Bakery roll.
For lunch, enjoy sausage links, served on a St. Peter's baguette and topped with grilled peppers from Down Home Acres Farm.
Looking for a meatless option? How about FreshaPeel hummus and peppers on a grilled roll.
And do not miss dessert - Grilled Upside Down Apple Pie, sponsored by Marcy's Granola, features super-sweet Gala apples from Frecon Farms, hot off the grill and topped with Marcy's Granola (your choice of Cashew with Cranberries, Walnut with Blueberries or Pistachio with Cherries.) It's a guilt-free, homey, and healthy concoction that will have you licking the plate!
(Thanks to all our sponsors - the special local farmers, bakers and good-thing makers, who make our market great!)

Pick of the Week:
Fresh from our Farms
Catherine Renzi of Yellow Springs Farm will be back in Collegeville this weekend so it's time to get your goat (cheese)!
She'll have plenty of selections of chevre-soft goat cheeses, perfect for pairing with the season's fresh, sweet fruit. Plus, special this week are two trademarked seasonal aged goat cheeses: Purple Passion is aged with lavender and Herbalicious is aged with herbs from Yellow Springs garden. And for a special end of summer treat, why not top your favorite ice cream (or Jenny and Frank's gelato with caramel sauces, made with goat milk at Yellow Springs?
Yellow Springs Farm Native Plant Nursery and Artisanal Goat Cheese Dairy, founded by Catherine and Al Renzi, is located in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. The farm and nursery consists of an historic farmhouse, dairy barn, a springhouse with pond on 8 acres of land. Al and Catherine raise goats on site and make fresh cheese every day.
