Happy New Year!

 

Make a Resolution to Nourish the "New You" in the New Year

with All-Natural, Nutritious Local Products!

 

 

Starting this Saturday, you can visit our Collegeville Farmers' Market vendors inside the Longview Farm Store each week from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. through April 28th! The Longview Center for Agriculture is located at the former Willow Creek Farm, 3215 Stump Hall Road in Collegeville.

 

Selling this week are Mountain View Poultry, with cage-free fresh eggs, poultry, and a large variety of ready-to-heat products, Red Haven Farm's grass-fed beef, pastured pork and grass fed lamb and a great selection of steaks, roasts and sausages, Marcy's Granola with seven mouthwatering flavors of artisan granola, Bigg Dutt's BBQ and chipotle sauces, A'dello Vineyards' local wines, Little Lost Creek Alpaca Farm with alpaca products and handcrafted pottery by local potter Nicole Dubrow, and Kay Bryant's one-of-a-kind jackets and jewelry.

 

Selling this Saturday for the last time this season will be Jenny & Frank's home made true Italian gelati-bring your freezer bag and stock up your fridge! Jenny & Frank's will return on May 5th at Collegeville's summer Farmers' Market.

 

While visiting our farmers and vendors this week, don't miss the fresh, local vegetable offerings at the Longview Market! This week features plump and flavorful Fairy Tale squash, five varieties of potatoes and sweet potatoes, cabbages, onions, shallots, garlics, seven varieties of apples, and Longview Hoop House arugula, carrots, Swiss chard, red beets, collard greens, turnips and celeriac.

 

 In a hurry? Then the ready-to-eat sandwiches, soups, and other take away products are for you. And don't miss their One Village Coffee and teas, fresh baked breads, cookies, pies and other sweet delicacies.

 

The farm store, which is operated by the non-profit Greener Partners, is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Directions to Longview:  The Longview Center for Agriculture is located at 3215 Stump Hall Road, Collegeville, PA.  (From the Collegeville Farmers' Market Main St. site, drive East down Main St. and cross the Perkiomen Creek Bridge.  Drive about five miles East on Germantown Pike, then turn left on Rt. 363, and after several miles turn left again to Stump Hall Rd.  the Collegeville Farmers' Market May 5th.
 
Marcy's Granola  be at the market this Saturday! Mountain View Organic Poultry Farm - Mountain View Poultry will be at the market this week with a wide array for poultry products!

  

Kay Bryant - Kay Bryant will be at the market Saturday!  This weekend, Kay will be bringing her special Santa collection - handmade, "international" santas. Kay is a local artist who makes and sells fabric jackets and bags as well as clay jewelry. All of the jackets, jewelry and bags Kay Bryant makes are stylish and one of a kind.

 

A'dello Vineyards - This Saturday they will have: Chardonnay Naked, Chardonnay Reserve, Chardonel, Cab Franc, and Chamborcin. Stop by for their tastings!  A'Dello has great double wine boxes for Christmas gifts, you will have your choice of two wines. For more information: www.adellowines.com

Six of our vendors are also selling at the

Phoenixville Market this winter: St. Peters Bakery, ICED by Betsy gourmetcupcakes, John & Kira's Chocolates, FreshAPeel Hummus, Mountain View Poultry Farm and Jenny & Frank's artisan gelato.

The Phoenixville winter market is held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. until noon under the Gay Street Bridge, accessed by Taylor Alley, just off Main St. (Rt. 29) in Phoenixville. Their next market will be held Jan. 14th. More information is available at
