Collegeville Farmers Market Manager Sought
The Collegeville Farmers Market, run by Collegeville's Main Street Program is currently looking for a Market Manager. This is a part-time position of 10 hours per week during the market season and an average of 3 hours per week off-season. The market is scheduled from April 30th through Nov. 19th each Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. View complete job description here.

A significant exhibition of the works of photographer Robert Frank, focusing on the artist's redefinition of the term "portraiture" through his work before, during and after his most well-known series, The Americans. The Museum will borrow the photographs for the exhibition from the Archives and Special Collections at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Many of the images have never before been published or exhibited.
The exhibition will also bring to the Ursinus community the opportunity for arts-generated discussions about a wide range of critical issues relating to identity, including those of stereotyping and particularizing through the lenses of class, race, region and gender. Free to public

With his ongoing series, Dust Shaped Hearts, Camp seeks to counter stereotypes of African American men and women, presenting images of those who have quietly, yet profoundly, enriched our culture. The series has expanded to include men and women of all races, acknowledging that the struggle against ignorance and intolerance is a universal one. His work is characterized by both the unique process he used to produce his prints as well as his in-depth exploration of the dignity and nobility that can be found in the human face.

Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy
2011 Annual Stream Clean-Up

Attention environmental enthusiasts and friends of the Perkiomen! Volunteers will work at various locations in Montgomery and Bucks counties. Previous clean-ups removed several tons of trash and hundreds of tires from the Perkiomen Creek. PWC's Clean-up is in conjunction with the Great Pennsylvania Clean Up and in honor of Earth Day. Gloves, safety vests and bottled water will be provided. Be prepared to get wet and dirty, and to leave with an awesome sense of accomplishment!
A unique two person team event that begins with a 4.5 mile run through the scenic hills of Schwenksville, followed by a.5 mile run/climb up and back down Spring Mountain, and finishing with a 2.5 mile canoe race down the Perkiomen.
