Fate of COHA Sponsored Bills May Hinge on Water Deal
In what could become a replay of last year's end of session maneuverings, two COHA-sponsored bills and hundreds of other measures currently on the Governor's desk may once again be affected by gridlock at the State Capitol. See artical in Capitol Weekly. Due to this development, it is critical that COHA members and supporters contact the Governor's office immediately in support of two COHA-sponsored bills, SB 589 (Protection of Hunting License Tag/Stamp Funds) and AB 1423 (Increased Penalties for Hunter Harassment, Reduction in Commercial Hunt Club Fees, and SHARE Program Implementation). For more information and sample letters on these two important bills, please visit COHA's website. |
