5th Annual California Legislature Outdoor Sporting Caucus Dinner Draws Key Legislators COHA and California Waterfowl were pleased to host the 5th Annual California Legislature Outdoor Sporting Caucus dinner at the Sutter Club in Sacramento on February 4th. The event was attended by over a dozen Legislators, all five members of the Fish and Game Commission, top agency personnel and numerous partners in conservation. COHA Hosts Historic Joint Meeting of County Fish & Game Commissions
Also on February 4th, COHA, along with several other outdoor interests, hosted an all-day meeting attended by representatives from 25 County Fish and Game Commissions. Discussion focused on seeking solutions to common issues of concern faced at the county level, the formation of a new statewide association and other ways to work together to better address resource concerns and promote fishing and hunting throughout California. COHA worked closely with the California Fish and Game Commission staff and El Dorado County Fish and Game Commission representatives to organize and fund this long overdue joint meeting.
