The California Outdoor Heritage Alliance (COHA) is pleased to announce that two well known international conservation organizations -- Delta Waterfowl and the National Wild Turkey Federation -- have both accepted seats on the COHA Board of Directors.

Mr. Rob Olson will represent Delta Waterfowl on the COHA Board of Directors.  Mr. Olson currently serves as President of Delta Waterfowl, and is highly respected within the North American waterfowl and wildlife community.  COHA staff has had the pleasure of successfully working closely with Mr. Olson on a variety of waterfowl and hunting-related issues over the past several years and is pleased to welcome him as Delta's representative to our Board.

Mr. Vincent Rosdahl will represent the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) on the COHA Board of Directors.  Mr. Rosdahl is a member of the national Board of Directors of the NWTF, and currently serves as treasurer.  Mr. Rosdahl also previously served as Chairman of the California State NWTF Board of Directors.  He brings to the COHA Board a wealth of experience and knowledge on California wildlife issues.

President's Note:

After much anticipation, fall has finally arrived and hunting season is COHA Logonow open.  On behalf of the California Outdoor Heritage Alliance staff, take time to get out in the field and enjoy the tradition that we all work so hard to protect.  If possible, take someone out in the field with you who has never had the opportunity to enjoy our heritage and introduce them to the wonders of the outdoor experience.  Enjoy and be safe.

Best Afield,

 Bill Gaines, President
