King County Looking for Best Workplaces for Waste Prevention & Recycling
Submision Deadline: June 29

Recycle

King County invites you to apply to be listed as a 2012 Best Workplace and let us know how your recycling and waste reduction practices have changed over the past year, and what new successes you have to share. They have reorganized the application criteria by types of work spaces (e.g. copy rooms and/or cubicles) and have added some new criteria, including a place to tell them if your company is pursuing a zero waste goal. The online application can be found at: http://your.kingcounty.gov/solidwaste/garbage-recycling/best-workplaces.asp

The deadline to apply is June 29, 2012. King County will announce the list and promote it to local media in mid-July. They are excited to kick off the program this year and welcome your participation! More information is available by calling Karen May at 206.296.4353, or emailing karen.may@kingcounty.gov.
