Moscoso Holding Telephone Town Hall Wednesday, April 11 6:00 PM
Rep. Luis Moscoso (D-Mountlake Terrace) will host a telephone town hall meeting to discuss with constituents in the 1st Legislative District what has been happening in Olympia. This Wednesday, just before 6:00 p.m., thousands of 1st Legislative District residents will receive telephone calls inviting them to stay on the line to participate in the Tele-Town Hall. To participate in the call, attendees will be asked to press *3 (star 3) on their phones. Those who don't get the call but want to participate, are encouraged to call the toll-free telephone number directly, 1.877.229.8493, and then enter PIN code No. 18646 when prompted. 7th Annual Make Dreams Come True Fundraising Breakfast Wednesday, April 18 7:30 - 9:00 AM

Join the community for a special celebration of Cascadia's alumni on the 10th anniversary of granting their first associate degrees! Program will feature a special alumni video and the presentation of the Cascadia Alumni Award. Professor Danielle Powell will emcee. Cascadia student Kelly Thompson will share her remarkable story of moving through harrowing adversity to triumph while making a lasting impact on a whole town by creating an anti-discrimination curriculum that is still in use today at her high school. Kelly is the 2011-2012 recipient of the Bill Christopher Scholarship. The breakfast will be held in the Global Learning and the Arts Building on the Cascadia Community College Campus. Northshore YMCA Play, Learn & Connect "Healthy Kids Day" Saturday, April 28 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The Northshore YMCA is inviting all kids and parents to stop by for a free community event on Saturday, April 28 - the YMCA's Healthy Kids DayŽ, which is the nation's largest health day for families.
This year's theme is "Play, Learn, Connect." The goal is to inspire three things in local kids and families: healthy lifestyles and physical activity year-round, a commitment to educational activities over the summer and closer connections in the community.

Help "Bail Out" Angie for a Cause!
Angelina K. Vazquez, owner of Abilities Unlimited NW has partnered with new Chamber member, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The local MDA chapter is in Canyon Park and serves over 2,000 families in Western Washington. MDA's mission is to fund research into treatments and cures for neuromuscular diseases as well as help families with services they need today and sending kids to MDA Summer Camp.
Angelina is participating in the MDA Lock Up - it's a jail themed fundraiser on May 3rd and she needs your help getting bailed out.
