Support Northshore Schools Foundation: Be a "Calling for Kids" Sponsor
 In October volunteers will be contacting parents of students in the Northshore School District to ask for their support in raising funds to provide much needed updated materials to our schools libraries.
As a sponsor, your business will be the challenge match sponsor for one day during the campaign by contributing $5 for every family who makes a pledge of $50 or more.
Sponsorships for this pilot opportunity are limited and begin with a pledge of $500*. *Challenge match sponsorship can be capped at $500 if you wish.

UW Bothell's Husky Village Taking Shape
 Teams of contractors are working busily to ensure that UW Bothell's first on-campus housing community is ready for nearly 240 students in September. The multi-building apartment complex was acquired by the University of Washington in April in order to provide on-campus housing for the rapidly growing student enrollment. The property is located at the north perimeter of the Bothell campus and has been renamed Husky Village. New signage reflecting the expanded UW Bothell presence along Beardslee Boulevard will be installed in the fall. For more information about Husky Village, visit www.uwb.edu/housing. |

Bothell Music Festival Comes to Country Village! Saturday, September 3 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
 Country Village is excited to host the Bothell Music Festival on September 3rd from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (gates open at 11:00 and music starts at noon). A living will is a document that tells your health care providers when you want them to stop life-sustaining medical treatment and let you die. It can take effect in only one of two situations: either if you are terminally ill death is imminent such that life-sustaining procedures would only prolong the process of dying, or if you are in a permanent unconscious condition. Living wills (also called "health care directives," or "directives to physicians") are authorized by Washington law under RCW 70.122.030. Life-sustaining procedures affected by a living will may include cardiopulmonary resuscitation ("CPR"), the use of a mechanical device such as a respirator to keep a person breathing.
