Representative Mike Hope, working with an advisory panel of dynamic leaders, is looking ahead to the future. He understands that as much as leaders hope to achieve at the state Capitol, government alone is not the answer to the challenges, and opportunities, of the future.

Instead, the energy and drive of our people will move our state forward.  He believes the hardworking citizens who pay taxes and raise families are the true reservoir of great ideas for our state.  

That's why Representative Hope launched the 100 Ideas Initiative.

The Business Program at the University of Washington Bothell welcomes a diverse collection of business leaders this summer as part of its guest speaker lineup. The speakers will address undergraduate students at the Bothell campus and MBA students at the Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue.

"The curriculum at UW Bothell is designed, in part, to provide meaningful opportunities for our students to engage with successful entrepreneurs and businesspeople," says Business Program Director, Sandeep Krishnamurthy. "These private- and public-sector volunteers bring real-world richness to the students' educational experience."

The WorkSmart program offers assistance in developing workplace strategies to help employees avoid construction zone delays and toll expenses.  Funding for the program is provided by the Washington Department of Transportation and King County Metro in order to keep people, businesses, and the economy moving during construction and to provide options to tolling.
