E-nlightened 7/26/12 - Board of Trustees Meeting Summary

At their regular board meeting on July 26, Birdville ISD's Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Cherie Wagoner as principal of Birdville Elementary.

Wagoner has worked in several positions during her 25 year tenure in Midlothian ISD. She is currently principal at Vitovsky Elementary. Prior to serving as principal, she has been an elementary assistant principal, elementary and middle school counselor, elementary teacher, and high school color guard director. Wagoner also worked in Fort Worth ISD from 1988-89 as a fifth-grade bilingual self-contained classroom teacher.

She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and her master's degree from the University of North Texas.
