2012 Car Giveaway Winner

Birdville ISD Car Give Away
Birdville ISD Car Give Away Video

Maria Lopez, Haltom High School senior, won a new 2012 Ford Fiesta on Monday, May 21. Sam Pack's Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills donated the car to be given away to a BISD high school student at the end of the 2011-12 school year. Each six weeks, students received a ticket for perfect attendance and/or A/B Honor Roll. Students at Birdville, Haltom and Richland high schools and the Shannon Learning Center earned more than 19,500 tickets. Each high school drew four tickets from the thousands of tickets earned on their campus. On Monday, May 21, the final 12 students drew a key for the chance to win the car.

Thank you to Tony Pack and Five Star Ford for their donation of the car and to Mark VanderVoort with HKS Architects for donating $100 gift cards for the 11 students who did not win the car.
