H.O.P.E.

The ASPIRE program at the Academy at West Birdville (AWB) has started a new after-school class for fourth- and fifth-grade girls calledH.O.P.E. Program H.O.P.E. (Hitting Our Potential Everyday).

H.O.P.E. is a self-esteem building/empowerment class that focuses on BISD's Core Values (Respect, Kindness, Courage, Honesty, Empathy and Responsibility) while concurrently teaching class participants about goal setting and future planning.

Weekly guest speakers come to AWB to motivate the girls of H.O.P.E. All guest speakers presenting at AWB are positive female role models that are employed in the Haltom City/NRH area and are passionate about helping the girls of H.O.P.E. break the cycle of poverty.
