Congratulations to April Chiarelli and Cheri Sizemore
April Chiarelli, North Rid ge Elementary principal, and Cheri Sizemore, Richland Middle School principal have been selected by Raise Your Hand Texas to attend The Principals' Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education this summer. The Summer Institutes will expose participants to leading national and international experts in the fields of education and leadership.The Institutes provide a unique opportunity for participants to work with renowned educators from across the country and to network with other campus
eaders with similar interests and challenges. All applications were reviewed and scored by a team of experts at Harvard and final selection was made by representatives from a number of key education organizations from across the state of Texas.

Green Valley Students Sype With State Representative Kelly Hancock
 Fourth-grade students in Keri Benson's class at Green Valley Elementary recently placed a Skype call with State Representative Kelly Hancock. He was very kind to answer questions from scholar's and is anxious to meet them when they visit Austin.

EMPLOYEE TRANSFER REQUEST APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL AND PARAPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES AVAILABLE ONLINE
Employees interested in requesting a campus transfer may access the application form online.

Transfer requests will be accepted March 21 - May 2. (Extended until July 15)
To access the Campus Transfer Request Application employees should use their PeopleSoft ID# as their login and the last four digits of their social security number as their password. Employees will be notified by a principal or campus administrator if a position becomes available at the campus requested.

The last date for resignation for contract personnel is "not later than the 45th day before the first day of instruction of the following school year." The first day of instruction for 2011 - 2012 is August 22, 2011; therefore, the last day for all contract personnel to resign is July 7, 2011.
