Congratulations to Birdville High School's JROTC drill precision rifle team for winning the Mesquite JROTC Drill Championships. They won first place overall, first place standing position, first place kneeling position, first place prone position, and first place overall individual shooter, Melina Nunez. Pictured from left are:  Cadet SSG Paola Molina, Cadet SFC Abigail Durden, CPT Jons (Coach), Cadet LTC Chris Matos, and Cadet Captain Melina Nunez.

ROPES Facilitator Training

Pam Miller and Brent Cumbie are hosting a ROPES Facilitator Training from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on May 6 and 7 at the Shannon Learning Center. This training is open to teachers, coaches, administrators, and of course counselors at all levels.  Credit is available for Gifted and Talented training.
