The communications department produces the employee newsletter "e-nlightened" each week so that staff can keep in touch with what is going on across the district.  E-mail your pictures and a brief description to Communications and we will include them as space permits.

Educator Evening in the Cultural District 2010
The Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) will join other cultural institutions in Fort Worth to host this annual event for teachers on Sept. 23. This is a great opportunity for educators to talk directly with staff members from the participating institutions, receive free resources and learn great ideas for engaging students through the lens of Science, History and the Arts.

2010-2011 Salary Information Available Online Effective September 10
Effective September 10, all professional and paraprofessional staff will be able to view their 2010-2011 pay vouchers online through HCM eApplications. Please verify your salary. Stipends are not reflected in your annual salary information. Stipend schedules, along with all employee salary structures, are available on the BISD website.

Tuesdays are BISD All Marching Band Rose Parade Night at Jersey Mike's
Every Tuesday until 1.11.11, Jersey Mike's is donating 15 percent of the receipts placed in the All Birdville Marching Band/Tournament of Roses bucket to help offset the cost of the trip for band students.
