Kathy Luppy Wins The Sadie Ray Graff Educators Award
Congratulations to Kathy Luppy, fifth-grade teacher at North Ridge Elementary, for winning the Sadie Ray Graff Educators Award. The Sadie Ray Graff Awards recognize the efforts of educators and educational institutions who encourage youth involvement and promote the Keep Texas Beautiful mission through environmental education. The award honors Sadie Ray Graff, an educator in San Antonio, who began using the "Waste in Place" curriculum in 1979. Luppy will be recognized at the Keep Texas Beautiful Conference on June 23 in Austin.
