Young Authors at North Oaks Middle Write "Locker Letters" |
Young authors at North Oaks Middle School recently wrote and published "Locker Letters." The premise of the book is a girl named E.D. from North Elm High School comes home to her empty trailer and finds a letter from her mother saying she has to leave quickly and can't explain but to just lay low until she gets back. The young authors will be doing a book signing at 2 p.m. on May 22 at Barnes and Noble at North East Mall. Haltom High School's theater department is having summer camp June 7-9 for children ages 2-16. Programs include: Pirate Adventures, ages 2-6; Acting, Stage Make-up and Stage Combat ages 7-14; and Musical Theater Dance, ages 6-16. Registration ends May 21.
