Denis Jones has opened a whole new world for the homeroom resource students at Richland High School. They ask her every day if they need the projector to be turned on. "The projector allows anything I have on my computer to be viewed by the whole room," Jones said. "With the projector and the big screen, the whole class can view a Web site with math manipulatives before they try it themselves."  The size of the screen helps those who have visual problems see the material.  The students have been using Computers on Wheels (COWS) to visit the library of math manipulatives from NCTM and practice solving equations. The online practice gives students the use of a manipulative without the expense. During English class, students use Word to write stories. In addition, students in the computer tech class set up their own Gmail, Pandora radio station, and sent their completed work as attachments.
