 The Communications Department produces the employee newsletter "e-nlightened" each week so that staff can keep in touch with what is going on across the district. E-mail your pictures and a brief description to Communications and we will include them as space permits. |

Richland Hills Church of Christ
BISD's 2009-2010 Convocation is Monday, August 17, at Richland Hills Church of Christ located at 6300 NE Loop 820. The change of venue from the Coliseum to the church promises comfortable seating for all. Please note this is not at the Coliseum this year.
Following a breakfast buffet served at 8 a.m., an integrated multi-media program, entitled "In a Future They Create," will begin promptly at 8:45. State-of-the-art media technology and fine arts will spotlight special BISD successes. The program will end in time to have lunch on your own before reporting to your home campus or to your work site at 1 p.m.
Sam's Club on 820 has graciously agreed to allow BISD staff to use the south end of their parking lot as overflow parking during convocation. If the parking lots at Richland Hills Church of Christ are full, please park at the Sam's parking lot and ride the complementary shuttle. |

In the entry form, select the teams you think will win in the upcoming Richland Rebels', Haltom Buffalos', and Birdville Hawks' football season. At the end of the season, the individual who selects the most winning teams will win the money, courtesy of HKS, Inc. It's free to enter! Birdville ISD has teamed with several universities to have an information night for staff interested in pursuing a master's or doctorate degree. This special evening is from 4-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Fine Arts/Athletics Complex.
