Our previous trouble reporting system called HEAT has now been replaced by Grouplink.
Outstanding issues in the HEAT system have been moved to the new system if they could be worked over the summer.
The system is available by using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox and accessible from anywhere 24/7.
We used to call reported incidents HEAT tickets, now we call them "trouble tickets".
When you report a problem, you get instant e-mail notification from the system that your problem has been received, when the status changes, or when the ticket is closed.
All notifications from the system include a quick link to the trouble ticket inside the email for easy access.
While your problem is being worked on, you can check on the status of your ticket, make modifications, and add notes/comments.
Grouplink also includes a knowledgebase, which is basically a library of resolutions to commonly reported problems.
You login to the Grouplink system using the same login and password as you use to get onto your work PC.
