Administration Offices have Relocated for Two Weeks
 
Admin FrontDue to power and HVAC upgrades, BISD's administrative offices are temporarily relocating to various campuses in the district June 29 - July 10. Departments will be available by phone on their normal extension or by calling the main switchboard at 817.547.5700.

Business Professionals of America
 
FudgeBirdville and Richland high schools' Business Professionals of America students recently competed in the National Leadership Conference (NLC). Winners are:  Jacob Pebworth, third place, Cisco Systems Administration; Ricky White, ninth place, Cisco Systems Administration; Dario Scalco, 11th place, Database Applications; and LanAnh Tran, 12th place, Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications and Analysis. Dario Scalco won the National Merit Scholar and was awarded the Ambassador Torch Award. Dario Scalco also served as the Area 1Fudge Region 1 president at the conference and an intern in the NLC Internship Program.

Automotive Technology Team Excels
 
BISD's automotive technology team recently won fourth place in the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills National Finals. Representing BISD were Juan Correa and Andrew McConnell. The top 15 teams in the competition receive a Ford Edge, Taurus or Fusion for training purposes in their automotive technology departments. BISD's automotive technology teacher is Olin Harrington.
