 The Communications Department produces the employee newsletter "e-nlightened" each week so that staff can keep in touch with what is going on across the district. E-mail your pictures and a brief description to Communications and we will include them as space permits. |
Softball and Baseball Teams Advance to Playoffs
 Birdville High School's softball team
will play Crowley High School in the UIL Playoffs at noon on Saturday,
May 16 at the Hawk Ballpark. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for
students. All district passes will be accepted.
 Congratulations to the Birdville High baseball team
for winning the 6-4A District Championship. The Hawks advanced to the
playoffs and will play Wichita Falls High in a best of 2 of 3 game
series. Game one begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at Birdville
High. The second game begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15 at Hoskins
Field in Wichita Falls. If needed, game three will be played at 2:30
p.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Mineral Wells High School. Ticket are $5
for adults and $3 for students.
 Congratulations to the Richland High softball team
for advancing to the second round of the state playoffs. The Lady
Rebels will play Lubbock Coronado in a best of 2 of 3 game series. The
first game will be played at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15 at Merkel High
School. Game two will be played at noon on Saturday, May 16 at Hardin
Simmons University in Abilene. If needed, game three will be played 30
minutes after the second game. Ticket are $5 for adults and $3 for
students.
