Genetic Basis of
Tourette Syndrome (TS) and Associated Conditions
This nationwide TSA and NINDS (National Institute of
Neurological Disorders and Stroke)-funded research study is being conducted by
Dr. David Pauls at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). The goal of this study is to identify the
underlying genetic and non-genetic factors important in the development of Tourette
Syndrome and associated conditions.
For this study the investigators are
seeking family members (adults and children) with Tourette Syndrome (TS), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) who would be willing to provide a
blood sample for analysis and complete an assessment interview and
questionnaire.
