TSA is very proud of the success of its first Chapter Leadership Webconference series, held May 11-15, 2009. Nearly 100 people from 26 chapters took advantage of this week-long program aimed at providing tools, information, and resources to chapter leadership and key volunteers. Two topics were presented each day, and each topic was presented twice during that day so that people across the country were able to pick which time worked best for them. A benefit of holding the conference online was our ability to record each session so that people who attended could refresh themselves on the topic, and those who were unable to participate could still have the opportunity to view the sessions. We now have the recordings available for viewing! Whether you were able to attend the session live or are viewing the sessions for the first time, you are sure to gain valuable information which will help benefit your local chapter and TS community. The webconference page can be found on the TSA website on the "Other National Resources for Chapters: Fundraising, Awareness, PSA's and Leadership Training" page, which is under the TSA Chapter Resource Center page. To view the full webconference schedule of sessions, along with links to view each webinar and download presentations and handouts, click here to go directly to the 2009 Chapter Leadership Webconference page. We hope that you will take advantage of having these sessions permanently available to you. We are greatful to our presenters Christopher Brown, TSA of FL; Sue Conners; Kathy Giordano; Sandra Hollis, TSA NM; Sheryl Kadmon, TSA of TX; Tricia Kardon, TSA of GA; Mark Levine; Katherine Morrison of Morrison Nonprofit Transitions; Dan Rostan; Rovena Schirling; and Marilyn Trichon, TSA of NY-Hudson Valley; for generously giving of their time and resources, and for making themselves available to their friends and colleagues in the field for further assistance. We also thank our agenda development group, Christopher Brown; Erin Farrar, TSA WA/OR; Bill Peterson, TSA AZ; Sherrie Sponseller, PA TSA; Tricia Kardon, and Deb Kramlich, TSA of ME/NH for their time and effort in creating an agenda that was relevant and engaging.
