Our C-Leg educational event is quickly approaching and participant enrollment growing. DON'T BE LEFT OUT!
Who should attend? Any unilateral or bilateral Above Knee amputee currently wearing a C-Leg
microprocessor knee, medical professionals working with amputees and interested Above Knee amputees wanting to experience microprocessor technology. We are thrilled to have Robert Jordan, professional patient model, C-Leg and Genium wearer, with us for the 2 days to instruct the program and share his knowledge and personal experience with us.
You do not have to attend both days, but it will be informative and beneficial if you do! Friday will include brief lecture to review how the knee works to maximize it's potential use, followed by individual evalution to address personal goals. Saturday will be at beautiful A.D. "Doug" Barnes Park with active participation in outdoor skills and techniques to improve functional level, and tips to maximize the use of microprocessor technology. This is a great opportunity to work on "real world" skills outside a therapeutic setting. Both days,we will pair amputees with therapists so all may practice what they are learning. Robert will also provide a brief demonstration on the next generation Genium Knee on Friday.
***NOTE: We will have a demo C-Leg available for trial use for individuals currently wearing other prosthetic knee systems that would like to experience how the C-Leg can improve your overall comfort and help you reach your functional goals.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. Please specify when registering if you will be attending one or both days, and if you will be joined by someone.
