Insight Shines at the Lanterns
Insight Team at Lantern AwardsWe hate to toot our own horns, but....

Actually we're overjoyed to say that Insight rocked it at the Southern Public Relations Federation's Lantern Awards!

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Insight was the most decorated entrant in the regional competition, which features some of the most outstanding public relations work seen throughout Florida, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. Awards, including Certificates of Merit, Awards of Excellence and the highly coveted Lantern Awards were given in 25 categories. Insight's dedication to research is clear; for the second year in a row, we were the only firm in Florida to win awards for our marketing research.

"This year's Lantern Awards featured some of the largest firms and companies in the country," agency principal, Sabrina McLaughlin, APR, said. "Our success in this competition shows our ability to run with the big dogs. I'm extremely proud of my team and the quality of work they were able to deliver for our clients this year."

Of the eight entries submitted this year by Insight, the team walked away with Lantern Awards in the event invitation design (Nightown), special event planning (Nightown), research programs (University of West Florida), and client brochure categories (Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center). Awards of Excellence were presented to Insight in the logo design (Nightown) and brand management categories (Nightown). A Certificate of Merit was presented for qualitative research (Destin Real Estate Magazine).

We are so proud of all the work that our clients have given us the opportunity to create. Without them this would not be possible. Thank you!
K.I.S.S.: Insights from Insight
I had a brilliant professor at the University of Alabama who really understood the value of simplicity.  It is through his guidance that I learned to be a creative director who recognized the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) Principle.  All of our designers (on both a junior and senior level) understand the power of white space and clean design.  They appreciate that sometimes more isn't better; it's just more.  To that end, click here to read a few of our INSIGHTS (the pun here was TOTALLY intentional) into our guiding principles when we sit down to conceptualize and then design a marketing piece.

Kasie Helpz Kidz Katwalk for a Kause Event
Katwalk for a Kause Logo

Kasie Helpz Kidz held Katwalk for a Kause to benefit child victims of cancer on Saturday, September 19 at the Greenhut Auditorium at Sacred Heart Hospital. The fashion show, which boasted more than 100 attendees and raised over $1,000 featured cancer patients sashaying down the runway in fashions donated by local businesses.  The show was a big success for founder and fellow cancer patient, Kasie Forman's fledgling non-profit organization.

We are so proud of Kasie and all that she has accomplished.  It is hard to believe that this young woman is only a high school senior.  We know that she has an amazing future ahead of her and cannot wait to see what else she has on the horizon.  Learn how to get involved with Kasie Helpz Kidz by emailing Kasie at kasiehelpzkidz@aol.com.
