"You'll never know what your people did for these kids tonight. You'll never, ever know."

Faith Christian School in Grapevine, Texas, is one of the first schools to have hosted the Passing the Baton workshop for its faculty. I traveled there personally to do the workshop and was impressed with the school's culture and commitment to discipleship.
But I never expected anything like this. Faith's head football coach Kris Hogan had scheduled a game against Gainesville State, a maximum security prison for young men, and got a crazy idea: "What if half of our fans--for one night
only--cheered for the other team?"
According to Rick Reilly, columnist for ESPN, "He sent out an email asking the
Faithful to do just that. 'Here's the message I want you to send:'
Hogan wrote. 'You are just as valuable as any other person on planet
Earth.'"
What happened that night is a fantastic example of the kinds of values we want to pass to the next generation.
