5 Point Take Away - Lift Inservice Summary
Here is a quick list of 5 key points from the lift inservices: - Cross the leg straps when using the hammock sling.
- Only lift the client high enough to clear the surface and have the bed at its lowest position.
- For shorter caregivers, the EasytrackFS track can be lowered to reduce the risk of injury.
- When the reacher bar is used, it does NOT get removed. Extra attention is needed when changing the load on the lift to avoid getting hit in the head with the reacher bar.
- If using the Voyager, keep the battery on the charger when it is not in use.

Product Feature - Bedside Safety Mats
We Bring the Eggs & the Mat!
With a proprietary elastomeric gel, the Risk Manager Bedside Safety Mat provides the protection and safety you are looking for. We have done the "egg test" on the mat. We dropped an egg from 30 inches onto the mat and it did not crack! (although it did crack when it rolled the ONE inch off the mat onto the floor!) Call your local SelfCare location to see this for yourself - we'll bring the egg and the mat!
