SelfCare has some exciting news we want to share with you. We have partnered with KCI to sell and rent the RIKTM Fluid Overlay in the Lower Mainland of BC. With the addition of the RIKTMFluid Overlay to SelfCare's already extensive range of therapeutic surfaces, SelfCare will be a one-stop-shop for support surfaces to provide solutions for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. No other medical equipment provider of therapeutic surfaces can offer the same range of product nor match SelfCare's flexibility in terms of sales and rentals!

This announcement is timely as our May inservices are all about support services.

RIK MattressSelfCare is pleased to announce that we have signed a unique strategic agreement with KCI Canada Inc. giving SelfCare the right to sell and rent the RIKTM Fluid Overlay in the Lower Mainland of BC. This partnership will combine KCI's proven therapeutic surface, the RIKTM Fluid Overlay, with the proven customer service and delivery provided by SelfCare to regional care facilities and the community. This is the only agreement between KCI, a global leader in wound healing therapies and technologies, and a medical equipment dealer.

Support Surfaces Inservices - May 25, 26 & 27

Prevention to Treatment
Alternative support surfaces are presented and discussed by Marty McLean, Canadian Surfaces Specialist for Advanced Healthcare Products of Montreal, distributors of ROHO products in Canada. These sessions are of interest to all healthcare professional who care for patients with or at risk of skin breakdown.

The goal of the presentation is to assist healthcare professionals in selecting the appropriate support surface.  A wide range of surfaces from a variety of manufacturers will be reviewed.

Lunch time session with lunch provided

3 locations & dates:
  • May 25 - North Shore - Lunch at 11:30, Presentation from noon to 1:00, Questions after 1:00
  • May 26 - Surrey - Lunch at noon, Presentation from 12:15 to 1:15
  • May 27 - Vancouver - Lunch at 11:30, Presentation from noon to 1:00, Questions after 1:00

Full Electric Bed Sale - $1,200 bed with 1/2 or full rails

Electric BedsSelfCare is selling some of our rental bed stock with your choice of full or ½ rails. These beds are in excellent working condition, but are an older style that is heavier for our delivery technicians. Clients can purchase a mattress to meet their individual needs. Call us today to put one aside.
