  Activist, actor and NY Times Bestseller, Hill
  Harper knew early on that education is the key to
  unlocking potential and open doors.  He pursued
  his education with a passion and determination
  that resulted in his graduating magna cum laude
  from Brown University and cum laude from
  Harvard Law School, where he was a classmate of
  President Obama.  After law school, Hill went to graduate school and
  received a master's degree from the John F. Kennedy School of
  Government at Harvard University. His appearance on the hit CBS
  drama, CSI:NY has earned him two NAACP Image Awards.

  Following the lecture will be a book signing hosted by the UCSD
  Bookstore.
