Reflections from a United Church of Christ Global Ministries visit to Israel/Palestine, connecting with ministry partners in the region. How U.S.-Israeli policies regarding land, resources, refugees, and partitions are impacting the people of the land. How can competing claims be reconciled?

Deep Discussions
The Ohio Conference Board of Directors had a good "generative" conversation last week about the role and mission of denomina-tional Conference settings in today's world.
It was part of a retreat on governance that we held at Templed Hills. Our facilitator was Bryan Sickbert, Director of our UCC Health and Human Services Ministries (CHSSM).
But that was just one of multiple conversa- tions taking place across the Conference (indeed, across the entire denomination and the wider Church of Jesus Christ) in this post-denominational, post-Christendom era.
