Susanna Farahat
The staff and board of On Earth Peace say goodbye to Susanna Farahat as she leaves the position of coordinator of peace education.  We are thankful for her excellent work in building the scope and strength of the program, and her many contributions to the overall work of the organization.  We wish her well in her new activities, and look forward to her continued involvement with On Earth Peace in new ways.

Righteousness and peace will kiss each other.

Talking to Students

Home Again
The Middle East Peace Delegation led by Bob Gross has returned safely home.  Thank you for your prayers during their travel.

"The delegation heard the stories of pain and hopelessness, which are as commonplace as pita and hummus in the area. But the warm hospitality the group received, along with countless cups of tea and coffee, was a tribute to the strength of people to persevere. For many Palestinians, simple acts of daily life are powerful acts of nonviolent resistance, despite the oppression of the occupation. Although the delegation heard families' stories of loss and anguish, warm cups of tea and brave words of hope were always given as well."

~ From Anna Lisa Gross, a student at Bethany Theological Seminary and a member of Richmond (Ind.) Church of the Brethren.

The delegation blog is still online here.
