(Louisiana February 2012) TMC Foods LLC, sold 29 Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen restaurants to Shelton Development Corporation. Mike Shelton CEO of Shelton Development Corporation plans to use the operation as a platform to expand the operations through acquisitions and organic growth.


Advance Restaurant Sales in its role as exclusive advisor for TMC Foods LLC procured 50+ interested, qualified buyers, helped procure financing and assisted in closing the transaction.

GE Capital provided financing.


 15+ Burger King Restaurants For Sale:

 *15+ Unit Burger King Franchisee located in southeast region of the United States.

*Many of the restaurants have recently been scraped and rebuilt. 

*Seller also owns most of the real estate, so new leases can be written for those restaurants. 

*Seller is willing to sell 3 properties along with the Businesses.

*Average Unit Volume for 2011 was $1.4MM, and a significant number of restaurants had sales approaching $2MM.

*The restaurants that have been scraped and rebuilt or reimaged were closed for periods of time during 2009, 2010, and 2011. 

*Because of that, sales and EBITDA was significantly understated for those restaurants.

*Total Sales for 2011 were Approximately $24.5Million Food Costs averaged 32.4% of Sales and Labor Costs were 26.1% of sales.

 *The package generates EBITDA in excess of $2.5MM and sales and EBITDA trend continues to improve year over year.

*Extremely profitable well run Papa John's 15+ unit franchisee located in Southern Region of the US.

 New Private Equity Firm Seeking Acquisitions:

Advanced Restaurant Sales has been contacted by a newly formed closely held and 

extremely impressive Private Equity Firm looking for large transactions in the restaurant space.


The criteria for prospective acquisitions are:

*Concepts all company owned or Franchisors with a minimum of 7 to 25+ Million EBITDA

* Large franchisees of top tier restaurant concepts with a minimum EBITDA of 5 Million 

*Operations with good management in place and willing to work toward a growth strategy.

*As opposed to other Private Equity Firms in the restaurant space, 

this firm is a long term holder.
