Everything is Blossoming--Are You?
What about you--what makes you truly blossom? Knowing what makes you grow is crucial to happiness and fulfillment. Here are some questions to ask yourself:
- What makes you feel alive and engaged?
- Are you doing those things on a regular basis, or only when you"have time?"
So here's your homework--to be done outside on a gorgeous day, possibly with lemonade close at hand.
-
Make a list of things that create energy and growth for you.
- Schedule events, classes or times to do those things.
- Post this list where you can see it easily.
- Enlist your family in your growth--let them know about it and tell them how they can help. Include them in some of the activities, if appropriate.
- DO the list!

Three ways to get a better relationship to your resources:
-
Work on your network: Make new friends, get contact information, and for heaven's sake- get on the phone and say HI!
-
Take role call: gather all the resources you have and make a list. Gather bank statements, insurance information and put it in one place.
-
Use present resources: stop reinventing the wheel. You have friends that know how to fix a leaky faucet and you have friends that can help you repair the rip in your couch. Call them and keep that cash in your pocket.

You Can Help! Way to Grow is a program that helps teen parents with education, support, and community. We have been asked to give a SHOUT OUT to call for items that can be used as door prizes for these young moms and dads. They love personal care items, gift cards, baby stuff, and basic needs items. If you have some of these items you can box them up and bring them to any RICH CHICKS event and we will get them to the lucky recipients!
MN Teen Challenge SHOUT OUT for teenager clothes that are hip and funky for teens that are going through the in house chemical dependency program. They need black skirts and white shirts for the singing group. Bring these to any event and we will pass it along.
