The concept of a Vision Map has been around for a long time. Creating a vision map isn't about slapping images on a poster-It goes much deeper, into the core of your being.
Presented by Karen Karsten, Certified Life Coach and Purpose Project Facilitator. This Vision Map Workshop is an afternoon retreat that will help you focus your mind and create a Personal Vision that connects to your deepest desires--allowing the Law of Attraction to begin to work in your life.

Volunteers Needed
Be a volunteer on the SUPERCHICK GALA committee. The GALA and presentation of awards to our SUPER CHICKS is on October 10, 2009. Volunteering for this committee is a great way to get to go to the most amazing party in town!
Volunteers are also needed for the Welcome Home Project that helps women get out of the shelter and into their own homes.

Keep the Picnic Going!
August is usually harvest time about now, but here in Minnesota, summer has only just touched ground for real this week, and it is running straight for September. Autumn is peeking around the corner already.
Summer is the revival part of living in Minnesota. Stay creative by emptying out your brain and allowing it to rest. Harvest some time for yourself-like a batch of active time for you, family and friends to spend time with nature and "make time for magic" by allowing down time. Take time to walk the lakes, take a nap in the sun (use sunblock!), or take the kids on a hike.
Catch some alone time--grab a notebook and try some of our favorite visualizations/lists of the season:
Places to travel; Things to toss out of your life; Events or places in the state where you live that you would like to experience; Three day road trips and Modes of locomotion you have yet to experience.
These are all budget-friendly ways to refresh your body and soul.
