Bishop Mathes writes, "I developed a joint statement with Imam Taha Hassane of the San Diego Islamic Center that mirrors my statement of yesterday. A press conference will be held tomorrow, September 20, at the San Diego Islamic Center, 7050 Eckstrom Avenue, San Diego at 10:00am.

Never too Soon: The Retired Clergy/Spouses and Partners/Surviving Spouses will gather on Thursday, November 8 at the Episcopal Church Center, 2083 Sunset Cliffs, San Diego at 10:30am-1:30pm. Bishop Mathes will lead us in a Eucharist followed by lunch and discussion. Lesslie Keller, executive director of Episcopal Community Services will be with us again this year.
