Clergy Conference is next week!
Here are a few details about what to expect next week,  courtesy of the Clergy Enrichment & Fellowship Committee:
 
Not Registered? It's not too late! Online registration closed on September 21, but you can still register by contacting Travis Thomas (or at 619-481-5455).
What to Bring: Everything we need for our common worship will be provided, but you may like to have your Bible and/or BCP with you. We also recommend bringing a travel mug if you are a coffee or tea drinker, so we can reduce our environmental impact.

Monday 10/1

1-3:00 pm           Registration

3-5:00 pm          Welcome activity

5:00 pm              Light reception

6:00 pm              Dinner

7:00 pm              Worship - Evening Prayer

7:30 pm              Bishop Mathes presentation

9:00 pm              Fellowship/Reception

 

Tuesday 10/2

8:00 am              Breakfast

9:00 am              Worship - Morning Prayer

9:30 am               Session I with Bishop Gray-Reeves

11:50 am              Worship - Noonday Prayer

12:00 pm             Lunch

Afternoon at leisure - see below for suggestions

5:00 pm               Light reception

6:00 pm               Dinner

7:00 pm               Session II with Bishop Gray-Reeves

9:30 pm               Worship - Compline

 

Wednesday 10/3

8:00 am              Breakfast and Check out

9:30 am               Session III with Bishop Gray-Reeves

11:30 am              Worship - Holy Eucharist

 

 Our keynote speaker, the Rt. Rev. Mary Gray Reeves, bishop of the Diocese of 

El Camino Real, will speak to us about "Worship as a Faith Conversation: 

How Transformative Worship Connects to Mission." In keeping with this theme, CEFCOM has invited some of your fellow clergy to offer examples of transformative worship during our time together.
