Developing a Service-Oriented Diocesan Center
As one of the central tasks of our Mission Plan, creating a diocesan center is at the heart of the proposed capital campaign. Together we will create an outstanding ministry center in Ocean Beach. Currently over 3,000 service contacts occur at the Episcopal Church Center located at 2083 Sunset Cliffs, San Diego, each month in the form of hot meals, medical care and much more. To continue expanding this life-giving service, we will make important improvements to the facility: making hallways and stairs accessible for those with disabilities, installing a commercial kitchen, meeting current building codes, all while adhering to environmentally conscious standards.

Together we can do far more than we can apart. Our three emphases for this proposed campaign are:
- Engaging leaders who transform lives through a clergy mentorship program,
- Strong congregations focused on mission, freed from the burden of maintenance and repair, and a
- Vibrant diocesan center dedicated to gathering, serving, learning and sharing.
