O God, who sent your Son Jesus Christ
to be the Savior of humankind:
teach us to know our sins
and to turn from them;
show us what is our duty
and help us to do it;
and so lead us by your Holy Spirit
that we may walk in the way of your will;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
