UCSD Unity Walk For Peace, Wednesday April 27 - This is a walk put on by the Interfaith Council under the Center for Ethics and Spirituality. We will be working with the other Christian communities on the campus to show something about Christianity, and there will be other faiths giving things about themselves, this is a great opportunity for interfaith unity and support. Feed America Service Project, Wednesday May 4, 6:00pm-done - This event is sponsored by the Center for Ethics and Spirituality as a chance for different faiths to do a service project together. We will be traveling to the Feed America food bank warehouse and helping to pack food for distribution. For more information contact Wesley.

Empty Bowls For TACO, Saturday May 7, 11:00am - 1:00pm - This is an event being put on by the TACO organization, Agape House ( Episcopal-Lutheran ministry at SDSU), and the La Jolla United Methodist Church, and we were invited to help staff the event. Local potters give beautiful ceramic soup bowls. Donors buy a soup lunch and get to keep the bowl; TACO (Third Avenue Charitable Organization)  keeps the proceeds to feed the hungry in downtown San Diego.   For more information follow this link. Visit Dorcas House, Saturday May 14th. Dorcas House is a foster home in Tijuana for children whose parents are in prison.  Get to hang out with energetic children and play for a day. More info here and let Wesley or Gillian know if you're planning to go.
