The next ten days include Holy Week and Easter, the heart of the Christian year.

On campus we will begin our Holy Week observances on this Sunday evening at 707 by reading the story of Jesus's Crucifixion, known as the Passion.

While we will not have any Maundy Thursday or Good Friday or Easter Vigil services on campus, I encourage you to consider attending those services at Good Samaritan Church--they're listed below.

We will celebrate Easter together next Sunday at 707 AM rather than PM, and at the Cliffs overlooking the ocean rather than in the International Center.  See details about all these services below.

Lastly, a huge thank-you to all those who attended or participated in my ordination to the priesthood last Saturday, and those who contributed to the generous gifts.  Fr. Chris preached a great sermon Sunday morning at Good Sam in which he talked about ordained priesthood being in part the art of making space for the people of God to minister as priests to one another and to embody Christ for one another.  I am honored and humbled to be a priest among you.

In Christ,

Gillian+
