Dear Friends in Christ,
I am in the process of appointing a Mission Strategy Team under the leadership of the Rev. Christopher Chase, rector of Good Samaritan, San Diego. In addition to assisting the Budget Committee in assessing requests for funding from Missions and Aided Parishes for our 2012 budget, this team is charged with examining where and how our diocesan community should advance God's mission through our shared endeavors. It is my anticipation that this team will position us to be able to vigorously live into the Strategic Plan now being developed. In a real sense, I am trying to anticipate their planning and be prepared to implement the same.
I ask for your help. Please consider individuals who may have particular gifts for this work. I am particularly interested in people who may have experience and skills in marketing, demographic analysis, and other related fields of business development.
