We are living in a time when events unfolding around us tell us that we are not safe, that the world we have come to know is not reliable. Our political leaders are awash in the politics of control as vast populations are suffering the consequences of squandering our natural resources as the riches of the earth continue to be exploited for the benefit of the few.

The global patterns may be darkened by the night sky in Iceland as smoldering fires of lava send smoke and debris into the jet stream across the ocean to overshadow Europe yet there is an entirely different reality in the mix -- one where all living things flow in grace and creations born from the purity of one's own heart shimmer with highest potential.

Yet volcanic eruptions are not what will enliven the earth and all her inhabitants. We are living in a time when we can no longer ignore that we are one - one family of humanity. We can no longer say that we are That therefore you are not. The time has come, even in the most ardently spiritual, social, political and educational circles, to put down the defenses and open the inner doorway of the heart.

Without the heart leading the way, we will continue to inwardly seethe or judge others. Without the heart, the mind has no way out of this current earth puzzle.

Yet we have all the pieces and the solutions to every dilemma, every challenge before us. We have only to step inside the quiet of the heart and listen. On that note of listening, as we do, we will find the answers to each and every puzzle. It is the merging with the feeling of well-being that guides us.

The Guides often remind us that all is well: All is well when our mind tells us that it is not. All is well when we are sick with worry or disease, and all is well when we feel threatened by new ideas, and are called to open and expand our horizons.

I meet the most remarkable people every day that are either seeking this state of being or have already achieved it in their lives to greater or lesser degrees. Like any achievement it often comes from facing some sort of challenge, then transcendencing it.

I am normally not called to share the amazing stories of transformation, but this one came the day of this writing. Her transcendence is dramatic , and it so precisely demonstrates what can happen when we merge with this knowing, that I feel compelled to share the essence of her story.

I'll call this 63-year old woman, Jane, a long-practicing shaman, intuitive and healer.

Last October, she found herself sitting with the choice of staying in the body or leaving. The catalyst for this choice was the diagnosis of cancer. She had been given an estimate of six months to live by her oncologist. She chose a path of self-healing, and today just six months later, she is cancer free.

When I asked her what made the difference for her resolve to follow her inner guidance, the answer was spontaneous: Trust. She could feel the peace and her energetic teachers were there every step of the way. Her learning was to trust her inner voice. 

I meet and share these kinds of sacred soul journeys with the most amazing light beings:  Beings of light having a human experience. As much as I can be amazed by Jane's story, I can also say that Jane is like many others I have met that are working toward or have already broken through that invisible barrier. They are leading the way in showing the rest of us how intention aligned with purity of heart transforms matter.

These individuals model what is possible when we transcend fear and trust the knowing that comes to us in the dead of night and when we are least expecting it. The only requirement is an open heart. and a willingness to trust the purity of one's own heart to lead the way.
