Today's Scripture
Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos, the void in which I
was drowning. They hit me when I was down, but God stuck by me. He
stood me up on a wide-open field; I stood there saved - surprised to be loved! 2
Samuel 22:18-20 Msg.

Today's Word from Marty and Jessica
All of us have faced moments of disappointment, hurt and
rejection, but it doesn't have to drag on for hours, days or even in some cases
years. If you will learn to focus on
Gods Promise, spending a little time each day in His Word, you will soon
discover that in most cases what you considered a disappointment, hurt or
rejection is really God intervening and preparing you for something bigger and
better. He's moving obstacles and
stumbling blocks out of your way so that He can help you become all He intended
you to be; you just may not see it right now.
When you find yourself constantly being compared, having to prove
yourself, performing to someone else's
standard and having to weigh your every word, it should be a conscious indicator
that God is not in the picture and it may be time to cut that anchor that's
been holding you back lose. God has
surrounded you with people who will build you up, people who want to encourage
you and people who will always support you, no matter what. Don't allow another day to pass in
relationships that drain and pull you down, you have so much life ahead of you
and misery will always selfishly want company.
Cut the anchors of disappointment, hurt and rejection and you'll be free
to live your dreams each and every day. |
